Scholarships

The Law Librarians of New England are offering two scholarships to the Fall Meeting. This scholarship covers registration costs only.

Send the Scholarship application to lawlibrary@maine.edu It will be forwarded to the Scholarship Committee at LLNE.

Scholarship applications must be completed by October 1, 2024.

At a minimum scholarship applicants must be members of LLNE.

In selecting the award recipients, the Committee will consider the following factors:

a. Relevance of the meeting to the applicant’s present position.

b. Lack of financial assistance from employer.

c. Individuals new to law librarianship and/or LLNE.

d. Demonstrated commitment to LLNE or law librarianship.

e. Long-standing members of LLNE who lack financial support to attend meetings.

f. Priority will be given to applicants who have not previously received a scholarship

from LLNE.
