JIRP Camp 17

As an alternative to Kluane Lake, students may travel up to Juneau Icefield Research Program Camp 17 to stay for a couple nights. The camp is located on a ridgeline just above the Lemon Creek Glacier. Here, students will stay in bunkhouses and share meals in the cook shack. With limited service, no heat, and no electricity aside from temporary generator use, students will experience a slightly more remote setting.
