My name is Mari Smith and I completed my Master's degree in Communication in August 2022. My research revolves around my interest in communicating across difference and applying that to our politically polarized experience in the U.S. today. I also completed my undergraduate degree in Communication at UMaine where I have worked on projects and topics of identity experiences and narratives.
