These 'houses on stilts' are off the coast of Miami and are protected by the National Register of Historic Places, and the National Park Service. Seven structures remain from what once was a village at sea.

Urban exploration is one of my hobbies, and I like to document my adventures with photography. This image has been selected for the Maine Photography Show, and also shown in galleries in Portland, Maine and Athens, Greece.

These hearty fruits are dietary staples for our resident winter birds here in Maine.
