About Me

I am a fourth year, non-traditional student who has completed enough credits to earn a Bachelor's degree in University Studies with a minor in creative writing; I am currently continuing my studies in pursuit of a second major in English.

During my time here at the University, I have been able to put a great deal of focus into the arts and writing; both are passions of mine, and I have welcomed the opportunity for formal studies in their various disciplines. I have enjoyed academic success, and I belong to both the Phi Kappa Phi, and Alpha Sigma Lambda honor societies. As a writer, I have been published in the University's literary journal The Open Field, and my writing strengths are in poetry, and creative non-fiction.

Outside of academia, my pursuits are broad. I am married, and my wife and I enjoy travel (albeit hindered by our three dogs). I have been a professional photographer for many years, and I also play in local bands as both a guitarist and bass player.

Please feel free to browse my biography pages, and get to know me. I have posted some writing samples, my tutoring philosophy, and some samples of my photographic art.

Thanks for visiting my page, and please let me know if I can assist you with your writing.

"And by the way, everything in life is writable if you have the ongoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt" ~Sylvia Plath
