This training is intended for anyone who wants to know more about how animals, with a focus on dogs, are utilized and trained to be therapy animals. Elin MacKinnon, LCSW is your trainer and she is a volunteer with Silent Sidekicks and Pet Partners. She has experience on a dog/human therapy team and recently became an evaluator for Pet Partners where she was trained to evaluate human/animal teams for skills and aptitude.
