I currently teach 7th grade science at Greely Middle School in Cumberland Maine. I am one of two 7th grade science teachers in a 1:1 Macbook teaching environment. I teach all students on our Team. Previously, I taught 6th-8th grade science in Plainfield, NH. I was the only science teacher on the middle school team for this small K-12 school. In my past life, I was an educator, backcountry "hutmaster," and search and rescue volunteer in the White Mountains for the Appalachian Mountain Club. It feels a bit strange to have travelled from the world of backcountry education to the world of technology integration but I enjoy teaching on both sides of that coin.

As you can see from my photos I am very cool and hip and well travelled. I also have a family and in 6th grade I took line dancing lessons.
