Rejection of an offer - occurs when one party decides not to accept the offer.  Rejection can also mean that one party refused goods offered to them as a part of contractual performance. 

Counteroffer - offer made in response to another 

Acceptance - when the seller accepts a buyer's offer on the home, usually by signing a Purchase and Sale Agreement already signed by the buyer. This concept is also known as mutual acceptance.
