About CCVS
Welcome to the online home of Kaohsiung Municipal Chung-Cheng Industrial High School (CCVS)! Located in vibrant southern Taiwan, CCVS has been a leading institution for technical education since its founding on July 1, 1980. From our humble beginnings with classes held at Xinxing Elementary School, we have grown into a comprehensive institution dedicated to nurturing skilled professionals and responsible citizens.
CCVS is proud to offer a diverse range of programs clustered around key industries: Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Chemical Engineering. We believe in hands-on learning and have developed strong partnerships with industry leaders, including China Steel Corporation, to offer students real-world experience through vocational experimental classes. Our commitment to providing specialized training is further reflected in our program for students with disabilities, equipping them with the skills necessary to succeed in society.
Beyond our technical expertise, CCVS fosters a vibrant school community where students can explore their passions and develop their talents. Athletics play a crucial role at CCVS, and we are particularly renowned for our championship-winning soccer team. Our basketball and volleyball teams also demonstrate the dedication and sportsmanship embedded in our student body.
Underpinning our approach to education is the school motto: "Loyalty, Filial Piety, Honesty, and Simplicity." These principles guide our actions and interactions, fostering a respectful and supportive learning environment where students can thrive. The success of our alumni, with prominent figures in fields ranging from professional soccer to entertainment and baseball, speaks volumes about the quality of education and character development provided at CCVS.
CCVS is more than just a school – it is a community that stands together in times of need. When the tragic Kaohsiung gas explosions struck our community in 2014, we opened our doors to provide shelter and support to those affected.
