Focused Child Care Networks (FCCN) were established to support Early Educators and Child Care Programs that a priority populations to enhance and retain the early learning professionals. Some examples of priority populations may include: Historically Under-served Communities, children of color, infants and toddlers, Child Care Providers accepting families that receive ERDC, Child Care Providers providing odd hour care, children speaking languages other than English and, other priorities.
FCCN Coordinators work within their regions to recruit, support and systemically support early educators.
Early Educators are asked to participate actively in the network at the minimum:
Participate fully for the duration of the FCCN (24 Months)
Attend at least 80% of network meetings, trainings and 1:1s.
Work toward increasing program quality and Professional Development.
