“LEADERSHIP IS AN ACTION, NOT A POSITION”

- DONALD MCGANNNON

Leaders and managers must be able to effectively communicate their vision, goals, and core values in a way that is understood across all levels. To communicate effectively leaders and managers must understand what are the barriers, how communication flows, and how their messaging can build effective relationships and promote inclusivity. Leaders and managers must not only communicate their core values they must "Do Their Core Values!"

“If you don't stick to your values when they are being tested, they're not values, they're hobbies.”

- Jon Stewart

"Trust, respect, integrity, loyalty, justice, and honesty are some identified elements which can be categorized by the term of core values (Dahlgaard-Park, 2012, p. 126)."
