Step II. Join the course Line group. Click on the course title first (Argumentative Writing). Then select 'Your group & class list', and scan the QR code to join the group. This group will be our official channel of communication.
Step III. Before class, learn about the course: the course description, grading and scheduling.
Step IV. Use the university's e-mail account to install Google Classroom and Google Meet. We will use Google Classroom to keep all of the class documents, including class assignments, home assignments and score records. When you join Google Classroom for the first time, you must enter your class code. The code is provided on the drop-down menu: Google Classroom & Meet. We may have to use Google Meet for real-time communication, when we cannot meet at the physical classroom.
Step V. Prepare for the lessons beforehand, e.g., read the given documents, and watch the video clips given on Google Classroom.
Step VI. Before each class, check-in the weekly lessons using the provided Google Forms and make sure your name is listed in the Sheets.
Step VII. Take part in your class activities, either at the physical classroom or Google Classroom (this will be informed in advance on Line). Class activities normally include:
a lecture on a focused content including watching a selected video,
a class assignment,
consultation or feedback on the assignment, and
a home assignment.
Step VIII.
Complete home assignments and submit them on Google Classroom.
Review the lessons reading the given instructional materials (see Step V).
Step IV (optional). Make an appointment for an outside-class consultation (when you feel you need it). You can check my availability from the Google Calendar provided on the Home page.
