Tzu-Chiao Lin (林子喬) was born in Taiwan. He received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan. From 2005 to 2017, he was with the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, Taoyuan, Taiwan, and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN, USA. He is currently an Associate Professor in Electrical Engineering with the National Taipei University of Technology (TAIPEI TECH), Taipei. His research interests include fault location/protection issues for power networks, renewable energy, and hardware testbed for smart-grid applications.
