Jian-Guo is proud of its unique DINOS (dinosaurs) concept, which ran as a theme through our classes organized along the lines of Discovery, Imagination, Nature, Optimism, and Success. The DINOS concept encourages and enables our students to develop their abilities and attitudes to explore and do research, to ideate and create, to love and understand nature, and to have sustained optimism and vitality, in order to be ecologically responsible and effective and build a sustainable homeland.

Discovery – Enter the Dragon Castle Course

The Enter the Dragon Castle Course improves children’s reading comprehension and fosters their research skills and teaches them reading strategies and do topical research. This helps them understand everything about dinosaurs, their history and the history of their Taojian Castle, and playfully develops their interest in history and culture.

Imagination – Celestial Drawing Dragon Course

The Celestial Drawing Dragon Course stimulates our students' potential to ideate and create. Ideation, or imagination is every child’s super power, and this course appeals to their inclination for imagination and develops their potential and vision to create artistic works. In our DIY high school, our students experience success, which is a strong anchor to internalize their learning.

Nature – Dancing with Dragons Course

The Dancing with Dragons Course shapes our students abilities and attitude to do scientific research, and sensitizes them about climate change, awakens them to the natural environment, makes them cherish the finite resources of the Earth, and nurtures their willingness to love and protect the Earth.

Optimism – The Dragons Traverse the Seven Seas Course

The Dragons Traverse the Seven Seas Course develops our students’ swimming and self-rescue skills as well as their physical fitness. To avoid human extinction as happened to the dinosaurs, we humans must develop the habit of exercising to stay helathy and fit to face the challenges of life and survival.
