In Short

I am a Scientist, interested in deciphering scientific questions.

I am an Environmental Chemist, studying biogeochemical processes in the environment.

I am an Educator who loves learning and teaching others.

In Detail

I conducted my bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the Tel-Aviv University in Israel, where I obtained a knowledge base to support my future studies in environmental science. I then began my master’s degree in Environmental Chemistry in the group of Prof. Benny Chefetz at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where I continued to a direct track toward a Doctoral degree. Shortly after finalizing my Ph.D., I relocated to the US and initiated my postdoctoral studies (Jan 2019) in Soil and Environmental Biogeochemistry in the group of Prof. Scott Fendorf in the Department of Earth System Science at Stanford University. I then continued my postdoctoral training (Jan 2021) with the Floodplain Hydro-Biogeochemistry SFA group at SLAC National Lab, under the supervision of Dr. John Bargar.
In Oct 2023, I will initiate my role as principal investigator and open my research lab at the Department of Soil and Water Sciences of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Please reach out for details on potential positions or collaborations!

I have dedicated my professional academic career to the investigation of basic questions on the processes that occur between and within environmental components that make-up our natural world. For more details, please see my CV.
