Our research group utilizes the stomatal lineage as a model system to investigate and gain insights into fundamental biological processes that respond to environmental cues. We are particularly interested in understanding how plants optimize stomatal production and patterns in response to climate changes. Our focus involves studying the genetic and molecular strategies that plants employ to control and define flexible cell-fate decisions influenced by environmental cues.
