The Data Science Society is dedicated to the professional development of students interested in data science & analytics who are completing degrees at Grand Valley State University.
Our vision is to become the go-to extra-curricular resource for individuals interested in data science to find portfolio-worthy projects and network with local professionals.

Right now in year two, we are continuing to host the annual DSS sponsored Data Science Contest. In the very near future (contingent on COVID guidelines and restrictions) we hope to host special guest speaking events and provide networking opportunities and weekly gatherings.

Leadership and committee opportunities are available as DSS continues to expand its reach. Come see how you may develop your own initiatives worthy of a resume, network with alumni and industry professionals or possibly attend a club subsidized conference.
