Graph Theory Unit

Welcome Students!

Welcome to the Graph Theory Unit! This week we will explore the History of Graph Theory (Day 1), Types of Graphs (Day 2), and Real World Applications (Day 3). On Day 4 you will complete a summative assessment on what we have learned throughout the week, and on Day 5 we will go through some fun games that use Graph Theory! The assessments will not be available to view until Day 4 which is when you will have time to complete it.

Goals/Takeaways

By the end of this Graph Theory Unit you will be able to:

  • Understand the history of Graph Theory

  • Determine the different graphs that are associated with Graph Theory

  • Understand the use of Graph Theory in the real-world

Website Set Up

On this website you can see how the unit is set up, be able to view additional resources, and have access to the presentations and worksheets at home in order to study and review. You are also able to see the outlines of our Mastery Grading System for a clear explanation of how grades are given in this course. Additionally, we have set up arguments relating to why Graph Theory should be taught in schools as well as the framework used to design this unit.
