Excited to share that our paper “i360°VR: An Interactive 360-Degree Virtual Reality Approach for Engineering Education” was presented and published at the 2025 ASEE Annual Conference. This work introduces a new VR framework (i360°VR) that blends photogrammetry-based authenticity with interactive 360° environments, offering students immersive and engaging learning experiences. We demonstrated it through a coastal erosion case study and also proposed applications for remote labs and physics education.

Congratulations to Benjamin Moua for presenting our project, “Single Image to 3D Model Using AI Video Generation and Photogrammetry” at the 2025 Summer Research Symposium held by the STEAM Pathway Program. This project investigates the potential of generative AI and photogrammetry for creating 3D models in engineering applications.
Daniel was supported by the CSU STEM-NET program and NASA MPLAN Award; Izaiah was supported by a research scholarship sponsored by Edison International.
This interdisciplinary work explores how VR, photogrammetry, and user-centered design can enhance structural inspections. Supported by the CSU STEM-NET Faculty Seed Grant, the project reflects ongoing collaboration across engineering, art, and design.
