This will be my 20th year as Activities Director or Assistant Activities Director.  I started with UHS for the first Junior Class making this my 22nd year with the school. I love working here with the UHS kids and staff.  I enjoy teaching PE, and making the activities as fun as we can make them.  When I am not teaching or doing activities, I enjoy traveling and taking our students overseas to distant lands. (Come ask me about traveling.)  I am excited to see what the year brings, and look forward to working with this year's ASB.  We have an awesome year planned.   Join our Thursday ASB meetings to see what is happening around the school and get involved.  I Believe we will have an awesome year! 

I am joining ASB as Mr. Benslay's assistant. I started at University High School in the Summer of 2001 as a summer school math teacher. During the 2001-02 school year, I coordinated the first ASC. I was hired officially as a math teacher in the fall of 2002 and then eventually became the math department chair. I'm currently working on my Preliminary Administrative Teaching Credential at Fresno State, which is the main reason for me turning over yearbook to Dr. Jarocki and joining ASB. I'm very excited to continue my passion for building traditions at UHS, continuing to develop school culture, and bring enjoyment of school through activities that we plan as a group.
