Using Baldridge criteria, Maroland receives Roadrunner recognition from Quality New Mexico

David H. Foster was President and CEO of Maroland LLC, a provider of long term care in the home and community based services industry in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In his seven years as owner/operator, relying on internal growth and 3 successful acquisitions, Maroland expanded revenue to $6.6 million from $1.9 million and grew the client base to 421 from 103. Following Baldrige Award criteria, Quality New Mexico recognized the Company’s commitment to excellence (Pinon recognition, 2010) and its foundation of systems and processes to achieve excellence (Roadrunner recognition, 2012). Maroland was one of just 14 out of 900 companies nationwide measured by HomeCare Pulse, to earn the designation “2012 Leader in Excellence.” According to the Denison Survey of corporate culture, compared to 990 companies worldwide, the Maroland management team placed in the top 1-2%. In 2007, the Company started up 800 HC LC, LLC in Las Cruces, New Mexico and achieved profitability in 26 months. At sale in August 2012 its 82 clients were yielding annual revenue of $1.5 million.
