This interactive and informative workshop will explore the potential for Latinx students to apply and attend the different institutions of higher education. In this workshop we will explain what Latinx students can do in high school to in-crease their access and opportunity to universities.
True Colors is a 5-minute assessment with instant results for understanding yourself and others based on personality types. The core of the system identifies student communication styles, listening styles, causes of stress, and learning styles. True Colors works because it is based on true principles and easy to remember and use in all kinds of circumstances from personal relationships to professional success.

Students will learn the history and power of words as well as titles which youth are tagged. This includes both ethnic and curse words in English and Spanish. This is a hard hitting and enlightening work-shop that will blow your mind, anger you, make you laugh and most importantly...inspire you to be a better person. Finally, we will talk about the current events and the poem Maestro will be read and copies provided.
This session is about Project Rebound and education. I will share the purpose, its history, it’s success and my connection to this program. I will share about my journey of change brought on by education. It’s a journey which unlocks prison doors, the prison door of your mind and the prison door of steel and concrete. This session is about how education can make so much possible, it can broaden your imagination, it can help you see a whole new world, a world of breathtaking views, it can also help dreams be-come realities.

The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) at California State University, Fresno (Fresno State) is committed to providing access, orientation, academic, retention, personal, and financial assistance to entering freshman students from migrant or seasonal farmworker families. CAMP works with campus staff, faculty, student services, and the community to improve educational opportunities for CAMP students.

Physics is a fundamental science that is the basis of all sciences from chemistry, engineering, to medicine. This workshop will be taught by future physics teachers who are current students at Fresno State.
We ask questions such as what is matter made of? The answers we get from our theoretical models and high-energy experiments are applied to study microscopic and macroscopic properties of matter, to diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and disorders, and to study the origin and evolution of the entire universe.
