MEET YOUR PARENT LIAISON, Cara Colson!

Hello Spring Hill Families! My name is Cara Colson and I am the Parent and Family Liaison at SHES. This is my sixth year in the position and I have worked in education for 10+ years. I am the mother of four children that have graduated from or are current students in the Fayette County School System. Seeing how each of my own children learn differently has created a deep passion for wanting to help families find the resources and methods that best meet their child's learning needs and styles. My purpose is to assist you (all of our parents and guardians) with the resources and information you may need to help your children succeed in school. I am here to help you navigate all your years at SHES and welcome your engagement by serving as a link connecting you with our school. If you have any questions, please reach out to me at colson.cara@fcboe.org.

If you need to locate me during the school day, you can find me in the Parent Resource Room.

***If you are unable to come to the Parent Resource Center but are still interested in resources, a backpack with material can be sent home with your child or made available for pickup. Reach out to Cara Colson by emailing colson.cara@fcboe.org or calling (770) 460-3432

The Parent Resource Center

The resources in our Parent Resource Center are funded by Title I and are available for all of our families and teachers to use.
