On March 6, 2013, the Environmental Education Center of Dayeh University was officially inaugurated.
To serve as a professional partner for environmental protection agencies and social education organizations at all levels.
To develop into an environmental education institution with international connections and global perspectives.
To fully utilize the campus environment as a learning site, promoting outdoor education and providing students and the general public with opportunities to experience and learn from nature.
To plan, design, and develop environmental education materials, curricula, and programs that reflect the unique characteristics and needs of central Taiwan.
Dayeh University is located within the Bagua Mountain Range, often referred to as the “Yangmingshan of Central Taiwan.” Since its founding, the University has embraced the principle of harmonious coexistence with the natural environment in its campus planning and development. Surrounded by extensive natural woodlands and beautiful landscapes, the campus integrates the ecological features of the Bagua Mountain area with the University's strengths in green technology research and green aesthetic design.
Through the cultivation of a green campus environment, together with sustainability-oriented courses and activities, Dayeh University has continuously strengthened the environmental awareness and green competitiveness of its faculty and students. Over the years, the University has achieved significant accomplishments in areas such as ecological conservation, environmental protection, pollution prevention, resource recycling, and the development of energy-saving and carbon-reduction technologies.
These achievements have been recognized through certifications including the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, the ISO 50001 Energy Management System, and accreditation as an Environmental Education Institution. In addition, the University has received numerous awards and recognitions for its outstanding contributions to environmental sustainability and green innovation.
