My name is C. Cori Sowers, and I work for Danville Public Schools as a computer science teacher and instructional technology resource teacher (ITRT). Over the past 28 years, I have worked for Danville Public Schools in three different capacities: four as a computer science teacher, seven as a technology teacher, and twenty-one as an ITRT, of which nine were spent as the lead ITRT. Since 2019, I have additionally served as a CodeVA facilitator.

I received a diploma in advanced studies from George Washington High School, an associate's degree in business technology from Danville Community College, a bachelor's degree in business management from Averett University, and a master's degree in instructional technology from Virginia Tech. I am currently pursuing an EdD with a focus on Teaching and Learning.
