FAQ's: 

Q: How long is the Town Hall Meeting?

A: Town Hall Meeting is a Three-Part event, with the last part of the event being the Action Symposium. 

Q: Who can I ask for help during the day of the Town Hall Meeting?

A: Look for any First Year Experience staff holding a "questions" sign and teacher assistants present during the day. 

Q: Where can I go if I don't know where my breakout room is?

A: There will be "questions" tables set up with FYE staff answering any of your questions in front of each building where breakout rooms will be held.

Q: How do I check in on the day of the Town Hall Meeting?

A: Check-in will happen a week before the Town Hall Meeting (logistics TBD). Information you need to know are your Civic Engagement Fair, Breakout Room, and Action Symposium location. 

Q: Where do I go after my Breakout Session?

A: The Action Symposium follows the Breakout Session and will take place in the same space where the Civic Engagement Fair took place earlier in the event. 

Q: How many booths do I have to go to during the Civic Engagement Fair?

A: Students are to visit one booth during the Civic Engagement Fair.

Q: How many Action Stations do I have to go to during the Action Symposium?

A: Students are to visit three Action Stations and hold discussions in small groups. Students are more than welcome to engage with more!

Q: What do I do with my policy worksheet when I am done with the Action Symposium? 

A: At the end of the event, your policy worksheet returns to the check-in and is collected. You will need to participate in 3 out of the 7 options within the Action Symposium in order to get the credit for this part of the event!
