I took VOTP from August 2012 to May 2013 because I wanted to get a job in an office in the United States but I didn’t even know what skill set I had, or what career I wanted to work on. I didn’t even know about resumes, cover letters, and references for a job application. I had reached far more than my goal when the program ended. I was so ready for all kinds of jobs. This program prepared me to be ready for whatever I wanted to become. I understand how to create a tailor-made resume for a specific job. This program trained me not only how to get my career job but also how to communicate with people very politely in my daily life. 

Jessica trained me on the Microsoft Office Software that I need to use in all kinds of office jobs and trained my hands to become a typing machine. Robert introduced me to a job on Airbnb. That job led to my dream job in (BA at) Airbnb as a bookkeeper. I’m so honored that I was a part of this VOTP community. 

I had the opportunity to take the course online due to COVID and the experience was unique. I can't imagine attending the classes, it must be awesome! I am very pleased with the program. The instructors were very knowledgeable, worked at a good pace, and most importantly, were very good at communicating with all the students and ensuring questions were answered. I learned how to prepare for a job interview, I created my resume and I improved my keyboarding speed and accuracy. I would definitely recommend VOTP to others and I hope to have the opportunity to attend more training classes like this one.
