Hi. I'm your teacher, Rob Yung. I'm super excited to work with you this semester. This class will teach you how to learn English from your computer or phone. Today's modern world is full of advanced technology that can help you learn English from your computer or phone. This is an Intermediate level English as a Second Language (ESL). You will develop your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills using computers. You will be introduced to basic computer terminology and visual and digital media tools and technologies for ESL learning. We will also do short in-class group projects.

This class is 100% online. That means it is on Canvas ONLY (No Zoom video conferencing meetings required. And no face-to-face classes at school). You will read, write, listen and speak with your classmates through Canvas, our online Course Management System. Here is a Student Guide to Remote Learning. You will need a computer or a smart phone with access to the internet in order to succeed in this class.
