1.	Terilyn hired a mechanic to replace her radiator. The new radiator cost $275, but the labor costs were $80 per hour. If the total bill was $515, how many hours did it take the mechanic to install the radiator?
2.	The math department wants to order pizzas for a department meeting. It costs $18 per pizza, plus a $10 delivery fee and a $5 tip. If the department has a budget of $141, how many pizzas can they order?
3.	In a certain city, a taxi ride costs a flat rate of $2.50 plus an additional $1.25 per mile traveled. How far did Elena ride if she took a taxi and was charged a total of $33.75?
4.	A telephone company charges a monthly fee of $40 for a telephone and 15 cents per minute for long distance calls. How many minutes of long distance calls did someone make in a month if their phone bill was $76?
5.	Two machines produce spatulas. The smaller machine costs $750 to set up and $0.25 per spatula produced. The larger machine costs $1200 to set up but only $0.20 per spatula. How many spatulas must the company produce to make it worthwhile to use the larger machine?
