If you are new to BEMA and want to complete an internship, please register and obtain an On Campus internship (BCST 160).

Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Perform essential tasks appropriate for the media industry environment.

  2. Formulate reasonable and measurable occupational learning objectives.

  3. Analyze work experiences and their relevance to one's educational and/or occupational goals.

FINDING AN INTERNSHIP:

Students are not placed at internship sites by the college. Each student, with the support of this class, is responsible for applying for and acquiring their own internship. A list of possible internship opportunities will be available to enrolled students inside the password protected course materials located on CANVAS which opens to students the first day of classes. It's a good idea to start looking for an internship before the first day of instruction by searching the internet, contacting industry connections, and asking instructors of media production classes you are enrolled in or have successfully completed for ideas.

First and second semester students are welcome to register for the College Internship class and apply for internships within the college district. Students interested in an Industry Internship are expected to have successfully completed related coursework at City College of San Francisco or another accredited college or university.

There will be two College and Industry Internships orientation sessions.

The City College of San Francisco ONLINE home page is at: CCSF-Online Classes
