Course Information

This is an online/hybrid course. There are no live lectures, however,  there are prerecorded instructional videos for each topic available in Canvas. All coursework (except the weekly quiz and final exam) will take place online, in Canvas. There is a mandatory in-person class meeting every Thursday  where students are expected to attend and take the weekly quiz.  There will be no instruction during the in-person class meeting each Thursday. The sole purpose of the in-person class meeting is for students to take the weekly quiz. Students who enroll in this course will be expected to...

• Log into Canvas Monday through Thursday to check for announcements/emails from the instructor

• Watch the provided instructional videos in Canvas

• Complete weekly homework assignments from the book 

• Engage in discussions with your fellow classmates on the weekly homework forums in Canv

• Attend class each Thursday to complete the weekly quiz 

All online assignment deadlines are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 AM. There are no midnight deadlines. If this does not work with your schedule, I strongly suggest that you do not take this class. Also, if you are not comfortable learning mathematics independently, then I strongly suggest that you do not take this class.
