Add Policy: In the event that the course experiences full enrollment (reached the cap). the process for adding students into the class will be processed in the manner below:
Students on the official wait list will have highest priority, wait lists usually have 10 slots, when a open slot becomes available. students will be notified and those students will be given a specific time period to respond, if a wait listed student does not respond in the time allotted, their spot will transfer to the next student on the wait list.
Please keep in mind, during the beginning of each semester students are shopping for classes, this makes it very difficult for any instructor to predict enrollment levels at any given moment during the add/drop period. What this means for students is that while open slots may become available, no guarantees can be made.
Drop Policy: There are two ways in which registered students will be dropped from the course. Any student who fails to regularly engage and participate in class discussion forums. post their answers and reply to peers will be dropped from the course on or before the last day to drop. [Please refer to the official CCSF academic calendar for the exact date]. The other way a registered student will be dropped from the course is when there is no evidence that the student is active, engaged or present at all. A registered student who falls into this category is considered a "No Show"[Please refer to official CCSF catalog for more detailed information]
