The Building Industry Mixer is a spin-off from the Construction Management Mixer, which has been a staple of the Architecture Department. With the CM Mixer being such a great success, it was realized that the Architecture and Interior Design students were missing out. In 2020, we hosted our first virtual Building Industry Mixer on Zoom. It was such a success that we intend to host this every spring. This is an opportunity for students to learn more about the industry. Many are undecided between architecture, interior design, and construction management. Our employer panelists get to share their experiences and expertise in the field to help students define what pathway is appropriate for them. We sincerely appreciate the time that our employer panelists take to speak with our students about the industry.
