Course Information

Off-site laboratory training in hotels, restaurants and other allied areas. This course is designed to provide practical experience in the branch of the industry to which the student shows to be best adapted or in which the student desires additional training beyond that given in prior classes. This course is offered for letter grade only.

Class Meetings:

All class meetings are in SW 02, 10:10-11am

1. Orientation: January 16th

2. Class meetings: February 6th, March 6h, April 3rd

3. Pre-graduation walk through: May 1st

4.

Graduation: Saturday, May 4th, Diego Rivera Theater, 9:00am-

11:00am.

5. Final presentation: May 15th

Course Objectives

1. To groom each student in this final stage of curriculum in preparation for a career in hospitality.

2. To learn new skills and improve upon skills and knowledge learned in the department.

Prerequisites/Advisories

You must be in the final semester of the degree and have passed the CA Food Safety Manager Certificate.
