How to get software from DreamSpark

This software is free to every student in CNIT classes, for personal use only.

Finding Your CCSF Email Username and Password

1. Open a Web browser and go to www.ccsf.edu.
2. Click the blinking icon on the upper right that says "Online Admissions" or "Online Registration".
3. In the "Admissions and Records" pop-up window, enter your User ID and PIN and click Login. If you forgot your PIN, click "Forgot PIN?" or "Login Help".
4. In the next screen, click "Personal Information".
5. At the bottom of the next page, click "Google Student email". You can get your username and password there. Write them down.

Reading CCSF Email

1. Open a Web browser and go to samsclass.info
2. At the top of the page, click "CCSF Student Email".
3. A window pops up with a Gmail logo in the upper left corner. Log in with the username and password you wrote down in a previous step of these instructions.

E-mail From DreamSpark

1. You should have received an e-mail from elms_support@e-academy.com. This email has your username and password in it. If you do not have that message, you can request another one as explained below.

Getting a Windows 7 Serial Number (or Other Windows Products)

1. Open a Web browser and go to samsclass.info
2. At the top of the page, click "DreamSpark".
3. Click the Sign In button.
4. Log in with the user name and password from your email message. If you don't have that email message, use the "Forgot Username or Password!" section.
5. Click on the picture of "Microsoft Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 Debug/Checked Build 32(or 64)-bit (English) - DreamSpark - Download".
6. On the "Product Details" page, click "ADD TO CART".
7. The Student Use Guidelines appear. At the bottom, click I Agree.
8. A View Shopping Cart screen appears. Click CHECK OUT.
9. On the "Customer Information" screen, fill in your name and click Next.
10. On the "ORDER DETAILS" screen, click on the Download link.
11. Your Serial Number is on the next page. Save this number – I recommend copying it into an e-mail message or NotePad file immediately.
12. You can download the software here if you need to, but if you got a DVD from your instructor you don't need to. All you need is the Serial Number.

Additional Product Keys for Microsoft Products

1. MSDNAA no longer provides more than one product key per product.

Using an ISO Image

1. Many Microsoft products, such as Windows 7, arrive as an ISO file. To burn a DVD from that file, you can use imgburn. Instructions are here: http://onlineitpro.com/?p=181
