About Me:
I am a fifth year Ph.D student at the University of Iowa. My advisor is Dr. Benjamin Cooper. My research is currently in category theory and Legendrian knot theory. Specifically I work with framed Legendrian tangles in Euclidean 3-space and use strict monoidal categories to develop new Legendrian knot invariants.
Prior to attending the University of Iowa, I received a Masters of Arts in Mathematics from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelors of Science from Bradley University where I majored in Mathematics and minored in Physics.
In my free time I enjoy playing volleyball and pickleball. I also regularly attend the University of Iowa basketball games.
