Hello! My name is Ms. Kahn, and I am so excited to be part of your child’s learning journey! I am passionate about creating a classroom where students feel safe, supported, encouraged, and excited to learn each day.
I attended Adelphi University, where I earned certifications in:
Childhood Education (Grades 1–6)
Special Education (Grades K–12)
Early Childhood Education (Birth–Grade 2)
Throughout my teaching experiences, I have worked with students across many grade levels and learning styles. I believe every child learns differently, and it is important to create lessons that are engaging, hands-on, inclusive, and meaningful for all learners. I strive to build strong relationships with my students and families so that everyone feels valued and connected within our classroom community.
My classroom philosophy centers around kindness, respect, creativity, collaboration, and growth. I want students to feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and being themselves. I believe learning should be interactive, fun, and connected to the real world whenever possible. Whether we are working together in groups, using technology to enhance learning, or exploring through hands-on activities, my goal is to help students grow both academically and socially.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy listening to music, creating fun classroom activities, and finding creative ways to make learning exciting for students. I look forward to an amazing year filled with learning, laughter, and growth together!
