My name is Oren Schweitzer and I am a second year high school special education teacher in Brooklyn, New York. I teach Algebra I and Geometry. I am in my last semester at Adelphi University for a Masters of Science in Adolescent Students with Disabilities 7 - 12 Generalist. I have a BA from Yale University in History.

I believe Math can help teach you how to think logically and solve problems beyond class. I love to read and write, spend time with my friends and family, play piano, be out in nature, travel, listen to music, watch soccer and travel. And I help run the Music Club at the Academy for Conservation and the Environment.

I’m passionate about politics and social justice. Education is a core part of developing active participants in our democracy.
