Learning Objective 3: In this lesson, we will learn how to solve addition and subtraction problems when one of the numbers is missing. We will use counters, drawings, and number stories with a partner to explain how we figured out the missing number. Our goal is to get at least 7 out of 10 problems correct in one round of our game!

What the “Addition & Subtraction Facts to 20 Drill” Activity Is
When you go to the I Know It– Addition & Subtraction Facts to 20 Drill activity, here’s what you will do:
You will see a series of addition and subtraction problems whose sums or differences are up to 20.
Each problem features two numbers and either a “+” or “−” sign.
You will solve each problem by entering the correct answer.
There are typically about 10 questions in one round of the drill.
After submitting each answer, you receive immediate feedback (correct or incorrect).
If your answer is wrong, you may have a chance to try again or see a hint or correction.
As you progress, your performance (score, correctness) may be tracked and displayed.
Find the icon on the bottom left with a pencil in a blue box to have a drawing pad to envision the problem.
