Marco Suarez is a postgraduate student of The City College of New York where he majored in Biology and minored in Anthropology. He was inspired by his high school biology teacher to pursue a career in teaching science to the students of New York City. He started his teaching journey by entering the New York City Teaching Fellows program during the summer of 2022. He is currently a first year science teacher at I.S. 229 Roland Patterson middle school in the Bronx where he is teaching 8th grade science. He is also currently attending Adelphi University where he is working toward for his Masters in Science Education.
