Using Extensions in the Chrome Browser
There are a few extensions that are accessible to all staff and students in grades 6-12 including but not limited to:
Kami - PDF annotator
Equatio- Equation editor for Google
Read&Write- powerful support tools to help reading, writing, studying and research
CoWriter-helps you write with proper grammar, spelling & vocabulary
Snap&Read - Text to speech tool
uBlock - Block distracting content from websites
Each of these tools work within the Chrome Browser, however, you MUST be signed in to Chrome in order to access all of the features available. The Chrome Browser acts as the vehicle that connects you to the internet. When you sign in to the browser, which is recommended, you will automatically be signed in to all of the Google Apps that are part of the GSuite, such as Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc. When signed in to the browser, Chrome Sync saves your personalized browser features such as bookmarks, extensions, settings, etc. This allows you to access them from a Google Chrome browser on any computer or device when signed in to Chrome. Please click the button below to learn how to sign in to the Chrome Browser.
