'A' Day

Good Morning!  

• Today we kick off National School Counseling Week 2026, with the theme “School Counselors Amplify Student Success.” 

Your PAC School counselors—Ms. Boyle, Ms. Lauchman, Ms. Cummins, Ms. Callagy, Ms. Capone, Ms. Mittman, and 

Mr. Vanno are here to help you set goals, overcome challenges, and plan for your future—academically, socially, and emotionally. Your success matters, and when you grow, our whole school community grows with you. If you need support, guidance, or just someone to talk to, your school counselors are here for you. In honor of National School Counselor Week- please thank our PAC School Counselors by going to your Grade Level Class Google Classroom and completing the School Counselor Appreciation Google form! Let’s tell our PAC School Counselors how much you appreciate them! The Google Form will be open all week through Friday! Thank you MHS School Counselors. We appreciate you!

• There will be a Model UN meeting TODAY after school in room 129.

• Students - scheduling for next school year begins TODAY! Later today you will receive an email giving you access in IC to request courses. Your core courses have been recommended already, so your focus will be on completing your schedule with remaining courses you would like to take. Please understand you will also be meeting one on one with your counselor after February break, so any scheduling questions or concerns can wait until then, as you will be able to address them in your meetings. 

• There will be an open workout this Thursday for anyone interested in trying out for Varsity Girls Flag Football in the Blue Gym from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. If you plan on attending or have any questions, please reach out to Coach Ryan, or go speak to him in room 134. 

• For students who requested a free pair of Dyson headphones -- the headphones will be distributed later this week. Stay tuned for the exact day and time when you will get yours.

Important - All students should have their school ID - It will be required to enter bathrooms and the library. If you are in possession of another student's ID please turn it in immediately to the main office. Those found with an  ID that is not yours will face disciplinary action.

Reminder, if you are staying after school please make sure it is with a teacher who is offering extra help. You must remain with that teacher for the entire duration of after school (2:05-2:45). If you have STEP please wait in the front main entrance until 2:45 if you do not have a teacher to stay with. Let's do our best to keep these hallways clear after school, Pac!

An important message for all students who ride the bus home- BUSES are to be leaving by 2:07 PM. You have 5 minutes to get to your bus before it leaves. Please make sure you head to your bus at dismissal, by standing around and hanging out in and outside of the building we are causing the entire district transportation to run behind. 2:07, be on that bus!
