Welcome to the web site of our research group at the Mahidol University. Our research focuses on various fundamental and applied aspects of earthquake engineering and engineering seismology, from seismic hazard analysis and ground motion prediction to performance-based frameworks, structure-specific seismic loss assessment.
About me
Teraphan obtained his ME and PhD from the ROSE School, Italy in 2007 and 2010, respectively. From 2011-2013, he was a scientist at RIMES in Patumtani, Thailand. In 2014 he joined t the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Mahidol University. Further information about our research work can be found on this site
Teraphan has consulting experience in seismic hazard analysis, ground motion selection, structural and seismic response analysis, and seismic risk/loss assessment for various infrastructure projects in South East Asia.
For professional activity, Teraphan is the secretary, Wind and Earthquake Engineering Committee, Engineering Institute of Thailand / a member of Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) / Seismological Society of America (SSA).
