Regulations of the Thesis / Thematic Paper / Dissertation Examination of SSPO Postgraduate Program
The Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics and Orthotics, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, has established regulations for thesis, independent study, and dissertation proposal examinations. Students must pass these exams within two, four, or six semesters of registration. Non-compliance requires a written explanation, or in the longest delay, a re-examination of the qualifying exam.
For Students Collecting Research Data Outside Mahidol University Premises
The Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics and Orthotics outlines guidelines for Master's and PhD research projects when data collection occurs off-campus. Key requirements include systematic electronic storage of raw data and documents, video recording at least 50% of participants with consent, providing quality assurance certificates for material/device testing, and evidence of participant invitation for online/audio/telephone data collection. All data must be verifiable by thesisadvisors, and any research misconduct will be decided by the program committee.
