Mahidol University International College (MUIC) is the first international college under the purview of Mahidol University, one of the top universities in Thailand. MUIC offers study abroad opportunities at the undergraduate level with the perfect blend of STEM and liberal arts while students delve deep into any academic programs of their choice, the breadth of their knowledge will always encompass humanities, literature, language, philosophy business and sciences. MUIC operates in a trimester system. Inbound students can choose to spend time at MUIC starting from 1 term to one year depending on their needs.

Language requirement: students who are not enrolled in an English-medium program or institution are required to have IELST or the equivalent English test.
Our location
Mahidol University International College (MUIC) is located in Mahidol University’s Salaya Campus in Nakhon Pathom province, in the western outskirts of Bangkok. A beautiful suburban area just a short distance from Bangkok's city limits to Phuttamonthon District of Nakhon Pathom Province.
Mahidol University is situated on a site of 520 acres, with beautiful garden-like decorations that make it an ideal setting for studying or working in tranquility, while the hustle and bustle of Bangkok is within easy reach. Students have ample opportunities to commute to inner Bangkok whether by free campus shuttle bus or public transportation such as local bus, sky train, or taxi.
Course selection
MUIC offers approximately 400 courses each trimester in the Arts, Sciences and Management at the undergraduate level. All courses use English as a medium of instruction.
Our academic calendar runs on a trimester system. Each trimester has 12 teaching weeks plus 1 week for final examinations. Students are recommended to enroll in 3 - 5 courses per trimester. Most of MUIC lecture courses hav 4 credits, students generally meet with the course instructors twice a week for 1.50 hours per session. The total teaching/contact hours is 48 hours per course. Students can enjoy taking courses across our variors disciplines.

Living and fees
Private accommodation
During the application process, students will be provided with a list of recommended housing near campus. The list is based on the experience of our incoming students. Students can easily access additional services within the housing area such as laundry, gym, swimming pool, and hair salon. The common room type is a double or single non-pantry studio. Restaurants and eateries are located all around the campus and housing area.
