Dr. Thapakorn Jaroentomeechai is a faculty member in the Industrial & Bioprocess Engineering module, Department of Biotechnology at Mahidol University's Faculty of Science, where he established the SynGlyco Lab in 2025. Dr. Jaroentomeechai received his PhD in 2021 from Cornell University, USA and completed his postdoctoral studies at the Copenhagen Center for Glycomics in Denmark. His research focuses on synthetic glycobiology, cell-free protein synthesis, and glycoengineering with applications in biosensors and therapeutic proteins.
