The conference aims to provide a platform for the government minister to share Thailand’s perspectives on global and regional dynamics in a multipolar world, while fostering academic and policy dialogue among scholars, diplomats, and the wider public on the evolving landscape of cooperation in Asia. It also aims to enhance CAS’s role as a multidisciplinary hub for research and engagement on Asian affairs, and to promote student and public participation in understanding regional politics and Thailand’s evolving role in the region.

หัวข้อ “Beyond Borders: How the Singapore Armed Forces Shape Regional Security through Defence Diplomacy” โดย Mr. Eddie Lim, Head of Outreach, S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University, ประเทศสิงคโปร์ให้เกียรติเป็นวิทยากร ทั้งนี้ มีคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาให้ความสนใจเข้าร่วมฟังการบรรยายพิเศษซึ่งจัดขึ้นในรูปแบบ Hybrid ณ ห้องประชุมโบตั๋น อาคาร 1 คณะสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ศาลายา และออนไลน์ผ่านระบบ Cisco Webex.

On 15th July 2025, Professor Dr. Punchada Sirivunnabood, Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mahidol University presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome speech to distinguished participants attended in the special lecture on “Beyond Borders: How the Singapore Armed Forces Shape Regional Security through Defence Diplomacy” delivered by Mr. Eddie Lim, Head of Outreach, S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The distinguished participants included faculty members and students. This special lecture was held in a hybrid format at Botan Room, SH-1 Building, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mahidol University and via Cisco Webex.
