Super Searchers - Google Office, Mumbai

Mahattattva was delighted to have educators from diverse backgrounds at an exclusive roundtable event at the Google Office, Mumbai; on January 20, 2025. The event celebrated the impactful Super Searchers initiative, which had empowered students and educators across India with essential information literacy and critical thinking skills.

Participants explored the programme's achievements over the past 1.5 years, exchanged insights and shared constructive feedback to refine and expand the initiative. The roundtable brought together esteemed Edu Influencers and Thought Leaders to discuss innovative approaches to navigating the digital world, evaluating sources, and combating misinformation responsibly.

Participants, including school directors as well as principals, educators working with marginalised communities, technology integrators in international schools, college professors, and textbook illustrators, connected with peers, shared experiences and contributed to shaping the next phase of this transformative programme.

Prof. Dr. Dipak Tatpuje

Prof. Dr. Dipak Tatpuje has over 41 years of experience in experiential education, project consulting, and research, developing rural development models through youth empowerment. He has completed more than 17 projects with organisations like UNESCO-Bangkok, UNDP, CASTME-Asia, and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Founder of VidyaDeep Foundation in 2004, he also established two NGOs and credit cooperative societies in Satara to support first-generation entrepreneurs from 1990 to 2010.

Dr. Tatpuje, holding a PhD in management and various professional qualifications, developed the "7 Point Career Aptitude Test" for 15-17-year-olds, refined over three decades. A Google Certified Innovator and UNESCO Inclusive Policy Lab Expert, he invented the TAILOR-C Model of Entrepreneurship Education during his PhD. He has worked globally on collaborative projects and served as a business incubator manager for the India Innovation Growth Program 2014.

Recipient of awards like the Dr. V. G. Patel Memorial Award, Dr. Tatpuje has authored books, research papers, and columns on career planning. His interests include project-based learning, experiential education, and social entrepreneurship.

Ms. Jayashree Kad
