I know that starting the therapy process can be daunting and overwhelming, so I want to provide as much information as possible concerning what to expect:
Consultation Call:
This is a free phone call you can sign up for to get more information about pricing, availability, and insurance, as well as to discuss any questions or concerns. I will also ask you what brought you to seek out therapy, to make sure I can provide you with quality services within my scope of practice.
You will provide your phone number during the scheduling process so I can call you at the scheduled time.
Informed Consent/Intake Forms:
I will provide you with forms that must be signed before I can legally provide you counseling services. Please make sure to read these forms carefully and ask me any questions you may have about them.
The Good Faith Estimate you receive is an estimate based on average service prices and it is not an agreement to the price listed, it is for informational purposes only.
Questionnaires:
You will receive questionnaires that will help assess the necessary level of services. These measure symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, and other general mental health concerns.
Intake Assessment:
This is the first session for every client. In this session, I gather information regarding your health and family history. This information is important in order to give you the best quality of care. Health and family history can tell us a great deal and is required for insurance purposes.
We will also discuss goals and create a treatment plan at the end of this session. We will work on these goals throughout the following sessions and discuss progress points along the way.
Payment:
Electronic payment is required for scheduled services. Scheduling online requires payment information in order to schedule.
Cancellations/No Show Policy:
You must cancel at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend your scheduled session. Late cancellations and no-shows will still be charged for the scheduled session ($100+).
If you have a monthly package, it will count as one of your used sessions for the month.
If you go through Insurance, they do not cover late cancellations and no-shows, so you will be billed personally for that session.
If you are more than 15 minutes late without any communication, you will be considered a no-show.
