The EPIC! Digital Library is available to students through MYIS. EPIC! School offers 40,000+ books and audiobooks for you and your child to enjoy during the hours of 7am-3pm. Your child's teacher may already be using Epic with your child and has shared a class code with you. That's all you need to get started. If you've not yet received one, please reach out to them directly.

• Audiobooks are great for children of all ages, from pre-readers up through advanced. Perfect for bedtime, car rides or quiet afternoons. An added benefit: no screens, just engaged imaginations! You can spot the Epic audiobooks by the purple icon on the bottom right corner.

• Read-to-me books offer the option of having EPIC! read aloud to your child. We use this for our pre-readers as well as emerging readers. Great for those times when you need to occupy little ones for a bit. Read-to-me books have a green icon on the bottom right corner.

• F&P: this option helps your child find the book that is "just right" for their reading ability, using the same letter system we use for leveled readers in the classroom at MYIS. Your child may already know the level that is just right for them. If not, their teacher will be able to help.

• Video: While this is not our primary use of EPIC!, it's a great alternative when children want screen time. The videos are fun and educational and safe for children to browse.

*If you would like to enjoy unlimited access to EPIC! on evenings and weekends you do have the option of setting up your own family account. The monthly fee is less than the cost of purchasing one new book each month and opens up an endless amount of books, in a range of reading and interest levels.
